Keep Learning

Updated: Mar 29

You work on your body, which means you also need to work your mind, so keep learning, which is probably one of the most important things you can do. Now both body and mind are important anytime, but especially as we start getting into those later decades of our life, we want to make sure and work on those.

By working on your mind, you keep things supple, you keep growing, and keep expanding. And we’ve found out as you learn new things, such as learning a new task, an instrument, a new language, or even something just learning something new in general such as a new technique for something.

Whatever it is, you always want to be learning, so you're working on your mind such as playing games such as those on your phone or tablet. They might be new to you, so you don’t know how to play them yet. That means you have to think about in a different way, you have to learn how to play them. Some people get upset because it’s a bit of a challenge to learn a new game, and they don't want to spend some time to learn it. However, when you learn something new, you create new neural pathways in the brain. You want that, you want to keep going, you want to keep learning, to keep expanding so that you’re working on your body to make it strong, supple, you want to do the same thing with your mind.

So find what you enjoy, have fun with it, and keep learning.
